TCG Card Shop Simulator guide
Organizing tournaments in your shop
Organize a tournament through the phone’s Tournament app, with a prize shelf and numbered battle tables. Version 1.0 also lets you play.
What the tournament needs
The 0.70 update introduced the Tournament phone app. Organizing a tournament requires a Tournament Prize Shelf from MY DIY and numbered battle tables. These are the documented starting requirements, rather than a guarantee that any table layout will work.
Participants, prizes and entry fees
The 0.70 system supports 8-32 participants. Prizes can be configured for first, second, third and the top eight. You can set the registration fee based on the prizes’ value. This provides configuration choices, not a proven fee that maximizes income.
Playing and finishing a tournament
Version 1.0 added the playable Tetramon TCG and allows you to join tournaments you organize. Earlier descriptions saying you cannot play are therefore outdated for 1.0. Update 0.70.3 also fixed a pairing-data issue caused by ending a day before a tournament finished; that is a historical fix, not a universal remedy.
What this guide does not cover
This guide does not establish a fixed round count, optimal fees or a remedy for every stuck tournament. It covers the official requirements and the change to participation in 1.0.
